Dr. Weiner is married with two children and two grandsons. His hobbies include skiing, scuba diving, and golf. He is the past-president of his synagogue, Beth-El Congregation.
Dr. Plocheck is active in the Junior League of Fort Worth.

Dr. Bruce H. Weiner graduated from the Virginia Military Institute in 1967 and the University of
Maryland School of Dentistry in 1971. He served as an Air Force Dental
Officer in Germany from 1971 to 1975 before completing a two year Pediatric
Dental Residency at the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins
University. Dr. Weiner is also a Board Certified Diplomate of the
American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He has taught at Baylor College
of Dentistry and has given local, national, and international presentations
to dental and medical groups.
Dr. Janell Plocheck joined our practice in July 2000. A Houston-area
native, she is a graduate of Texas A&M University
and Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Plocheck completed
her pediatric dental residency at Case Western Reserve
University in Cleveland, Ohio. The head of that program
was among Dr. Weiner’s favorite professors and closest
colleagues when he himself was a dental resident at
the University of Maryland. The Cleveland dean contacted
Dr. Weiner to highly recommend Dr. Plocheck, who
was eager to return to Texas. Dr. Plocheck is a Board Certified
Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
